A group of
women from the Boeung Kak lake community cry and call out to friends and
family from inside Phnom Penh Municipal Court last month on the day of
their trial and sentencing.

As a Cambodian citizen, I feel unpleasant and very pity for Boeung Kork villagers and the jailed spouses especially their children who indeed need their mothers to take care of them. I doubt their future will be when there lack caring from the warm- heart mother. If the children continue to live in injustice like this, I believe they must have feeling of taking revenge in their mind.
"Why the need of development have destroyed Boeung Kork village? why wouldn't the developer give the villagers appropriate compensation for their living?"
